Penang, Malaysia — The Graduate School of Business at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has officially opened submissions for the 5th International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation (ICBSI 2026), to be held on 1–2 October 2026 at the Olive Tree Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, accommodating both in-person and online participants.
Themed "Leading Sustainable Business in the Era of Global Transformation," ICBSI 2026 aims to provide an international platform for researchers, academics, and business practitioners to exchange knowledge and experiences on business sustainability and innovation in the digital era, and to foster international research collaboration.
The conference welcomes papers across a broad range of topics, including Sustainable Accounting and Governance, Innovation in Operations Management and Supply Chain, Green Marketing, Digital Business and Economy, Human Resource Management, Climate Change Management, and all areas related to business sustainability and innovation.
All accepted papers will be published in academic journals indexed in MyCite and ERA, internationally recognised journal databases, providing significant visibility and citation opportunities for contributing authors.
Prospective authors are required to submit an Extended Abstract of 1,000–1,500 words in English by 26 May 2026. Upon acceptance, the full paper of no more than 15 pages must be submitted by 30 June 2026.
Registration fees are as follows: Presenter — Local RM 1,500 / International USD 400. Attendee — Local RM 500 / International USD 150.
