Penang, Malaysia — The Graduate School of Business at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has announced an extension of the submission deadline for the 5th International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation (ICBSI 2026), giving researchers and academics additional time to prepare and submit their work. The conference remains scheduled for 1–2 October 2026 at the Olive Tree Hotel, Penang, Malaysia, in hybrid format.

The revised key dates are as follows:
- Extended Abstract Submission has been extended from 26 May to 9 June 2026
- Abstract Acceptance Notification to 18 June 2026
- Full Paper Submission to 7 July 2026
- Full Paper Acceptance to 4 August 2026
- Camera-Ready Submission to 16 August 2026
- Payment Deadline to 29 August 2026.
The conference dates of 1–2 October 2026 remain unchanged.

Prospective authors are required to submit an Extended Abstract of 1,000–1,500 words in English, indicating up to two relevant conference tracks, through the ICBSI 2026 submission portal. Upon acceptance, a full paper of no more than 15 pages must be submitted using the official template available on the conference website.

All accepted papers will be published in MyCite and ERA indexed journals. Registration fees are: Presenter — Local RM 1,500 / International USD 400; Attendee — Local RM 500 / International USD 150.
