participated in enhancing the
capabilities of its personnel, aiming to
create value and develop the local
community sustainably, through the
workshop “Assessing Social Return
on Investment (SROI), 2nd
Edition.”
The Graduate
School of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, led by Assistant Professor
Dr. Sasiporn Pongpleinpit, Deputy Dean
for Academic Affairs, Graduate School,
along with faculty members from the
Educational Administration and
Development Administration programs,
participated in the workshop on
“Assessing Social Return on
Investment (SROI), 2nd Edition.”
The workshop was organized by the
Research and Development Institute of
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University from
July 31st to August 1st and August 6th
to 7th, 2026, at the SD Avenue Hotel,
Bangkok.
This workshop was held
under the Rajabhat University for Local
Development Project, with the objective
of enhancing the knowledge and
capabilities of personnel and project
managers. This in-depth understanding of
using SROI tools, a systematic process
for evaluating social outcomes and
impacts, includes:
Stakeholder
analysis;
Linking the
relationship between inputs, outputs,
and outcomes;
Assessing the
actual changes experienced by target
groups;
Calculating and
evaluating the social value generated
from investment.
The
participation of Graduate School faculty
and staff reflects their commitment to
applying academic frameworks and tools
to planning, researching, and developing
community service projects. The goal is
to create tangible and sustainable
positive impacts on society and local
development.
