????????Graduate School, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, collaborates with Hong Ngao Subdistrict Municipality, Ranong Province, to develop vocational skills for the elderly through online learning ????????

On March 26, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Anchana Suksomjit, Deputy Dean for Research and Development, Graduate School, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, visited Mr. Sukkasem Sombat, Permanent Secretary of Hong Ngao Subdistrict Municipality, Ranong Province, together with Ms. Natsada Na Ranong, Director of the Welfare and Social Division, Ranong Municipality, and Mr. Rungsak Raksat, President of the Pho Ta Khing Community, Ranong Municipality, to discuss and request cooperation from the community in implementing the research project “Development of Essential Vocational Skills through Online Learning for the Elderly and the Elderly”, which is funded by **National Research Office (NRCT)**

This project focuses on developing vocational skills for the elderly and those entering the elderly age group in Huai Keng Community, using online learning technology as an important tool. To enhance career opportunities, increase income and promote social participation of the elderly

– Support the elderly and those entering old age to have universal and lifelong access to learning through digital technology

– Support access to career opportunities and learning for the elderly, a group that may face economic and social constraints

This field visit is an important step in creating collaboration between the academic and community sectors to improve the quality of life of the elderly to be self-reliant and have a better quality of life sustainably.
