From May 19-21, 2026, a
graduate team led by Asst. Prof. Dr.
Anchana Suksomjit conducted activities
for the “Project to Improve
Quality of Life and Increase Household
Income in Udon Thani Province, Fiscal
Year 2026.” This project aimed to
promote grassroots economic development
and strengthen households and
communities in the area, focusing on
vocational skills development, creating
employment opportunities, and increasing
income, while simultaneously improving
the quality of life.

The
activities included practical training
in making #perfume gel, #lip balm, and
#reed diffusers. This was developed from
the extraction of essential oils and the
use of natural dyes. These products can
be used in households and sold as
community products under the LUNA brand
of the Huai Koeng Herbal Community
Enterprise.

This project
aligns with the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs), particularly poverty
eradication (SDG 1) through income
generation and reducing the economic
burden on households; promoting
employment and economic growth (SDG 10)
through vocational skills development
and increased employment potential; and
reducing inequality (SDG 10) by
providing inclusive access to
development for all at the community
level. As well as supporting the
creation of strong and sustainable
communities (SDG 11), which will lead to
the stable and sustainable development
of the quality of life for the people of
Udon Thani Province.
