University organized an activity to
promote a mechanism for creating
cooperation in career development for
those who are entering their senior
years and the elderly ![]()

On May
17, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Anchana
Suksomjit, Deputy Dean for Research and
Development, Graduate School, as the
project leader, led the research team to
organize activities in the research
project “Development of essential
career skills through online learning
for those who are entering their senior
years and the elderly” at the Chan
Krachangfa Meeting Room, Kumphawapi
Subdistrict Municipality, Udon Thani
Province, supported by research funding
from the National Research Office (NRCT)
and honored by Mr. Manas Phonnamthiang,
Mayor of Kumphawapi Subdistrict
Municipality, as the chairman of the
opening ceremony of the
project.
Speaker Ms.
Phichitra Thammasatit gave a lecture on
making your own products, developing
products to the market, increasing the
value of products for occupational
groups by teaching photography skills,
using online channels for distribution,
and sharing knowledge on tie-dyeing
using natural indigo, along with ideas
for creating unique local identities,
such as using the color of the golden
shower tree in tie-dyeing. Which is the
golden shower tree, the provincial
flower of Udon Thani.

This
activity focuses on promoting and
developing vocational skills for the
elderly and those who are entering
senior age through online learning
technology to enhance their career
potential, increase sustainable income,
and create value for participation in
society.
This project not
only provides the elderly with the
opportunity to develop themselves, but
also helps connect the new generation
with the old generation in the context
of a lifelong learning
society.

Developing vocational

income-generating opportunities, reduce
