The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation announced measures to prevent the issuance of visas to foreign students, following news reports on social media that there is a process of issuing student visas or Education Visas to foreigners who travel to Thailand without the intention of continuing their studies at higher education institutions, but take advantage of this opportunity to illegally enter the country to work. We would like to urge all higher education institutions that accept foreign students to proceed as stated in points 1-3.
