Building Bridges of International
Cooperation: When the University of
Exeter Visited Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University
The Graduate School of
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led
by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanchak Noichan,
Dean of the Graduate School, along with
the management team and faculty,
welcomed Ms. Amy Chandler (Regional
Manager, South East Asia) from the
University of Exeter, United Kingdom, on
the occasion of her visit to the
university and discussions on academic
collaboration.
The welcoming
atmosphere was warm. We began by touring
the Saithuthanaphat Building Museum,
showcasing the valuable story of the
"Royal Court" of Suan Sunandha
and the history of Her Majesty Queen
Sunantha Kumaree Ratana, the Royal
Consort. Ms. Chandler showed great
interest and appreciation for the rare
historical significance of Thai culture,
which is a crucial foundation for our
institution.
In addition to
admiring the beautiful facilities, we
also held an informal discussion about
the next steps in building sustainable
cooperation, particularly plans to
implement the Transnational Education
(TNE) grant from the British Council,
aimed at elevating educational standards
and providing global opportunities for
our students and staff.
We would
like to express our gratitude to all
parties involved in this welcoming
event. And we are confident that this
will be the beginning of truly expanding
research and learning innovations from
Suan Sunandha University to the
international level.
