On 10 November 2018, Dr. Thongchai Surinwarangkoon, the Deputy Dean for Administration was assigned by the Dean of the Graduate School, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to discuss with Dr.Azlan Amran, the Dean of the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia on the possibility for both organizations to have an academic cooperation. After the meeting, the two organizations agreed to have a cooperation in four main activities: 1) offering a short-term scholarship for Thai students to visit Malaysia; 2) being the hosts of the 10th International Conference 2019; 3) arranging a one-semester student exchange program; and 4) offering a dual degree program.
