Three Suan Sunandha
University futsal players, all members
of the Thai national team, made history
by leading the Thai women's futsal
team to their first-ever ASEAN
championship title. This achievement
came on March 2, 2026, at Terminal 21
Shopping Mall in Nakhon Ratchasima,
where Thailand faced Australia. The
three players contributed to the
victory:
Ms. Praeploy Huajai
Phet, a Master's student in
Political Science and Public
Administration,
Ms. Wallida
Chimphrabut, an Undergraduate student in
Public Administration,
and Ms.
Nuengrutai Sorahong, a Master's
student in Political Science and Public
Administration,
all contributing
to the Thai championship win. In
history, with a score of 5-4.
