Graduate School Participates
in Preserving Thai Wisdom and Sharing
Herbal Knowledge with the
Community
The Applied Thai
Traditional Medicine program, Graduate
School, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suphalak
Fakham, Program Chair, and a team of
lecturers, was honored to participate in
the "Project to Preserve Thai
Traditional and Alternative Medicine
Wisdom Regarding Herbal Medicine in the
Community."
The project
focused on conserving, restoring, and
expanding local wisdom to raise
awareness among community members about
the value of holistic health care. The
event included many interesting
activities such as:
- Classification
of local herbs and their properties
-
Workshop on making herbal compresses and
herbal sachets
- Health care using
Thai traditional and alternative
medicine
In addition to knowledge
sharing from the lecturers, there was
also an exchange of experiences with
local experts to jointly preserve the
unique identity of Thai herbal medicine
for future
generations.
