Announces: Research Grants for Graduate Students, Academic Year 2026
The Graduate School of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University would like to announce that the King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambhai Barni Memorial Foundation is now accepting applications for research grants for master’s and doctoral students to support thesis and dissertation research for the year 2026 (B.E. 2569).
Eligibility
Applicants
must be Thai nationals currently
enrolled in a graduate program
(master’s and/or doctoral) at a
public or private higher education
institution in Thailand, and must have
an approved thesis/dissertation
topic.
Grant
Amount
Up to 20,000 baht per
project, paid in two installments of 50%
each (the first upon the award decision,
the second upon submission of the
complete thesis/dissertation).
Research Themes Given
Special
Consideration
Including
studies related to the reign of King
Prajadhipok (King Rama VII) and Queen
Rambhai Barni; information, digital
technology and artificial intelligence
(AI); language, arts and culture in Thai
society; basic and applied sciences;
engineering for sustainable development;
economics for reducing inequality;
issues facing Thai farmers; tourism;
environment and sustainable management;
health promotion; and Digital Health,
among others (21 themes in total; please
see the full announcement).

- Application form (all 4 pages completed), with one 1-inch half-length photograph attached, plus one photocopy
- Copy of thesis/dissertation registration
- Letter of endorsement from the thesis advisor and the head of department/program chair
- Confidential academic recommendation from the thesis advisor
- One copy of the approved thesis/dissertation proposal
Schedule
- Application period: Monday, 19 October 2026 – Friday, 8 January 2027
- Results announced: within April 2027
