University Council Meeting No. 6/2568

Bangkok – On the afternoon of June 25, 2568, Associate Professor Dr. Ruedet Kerdwichai, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Council, chaired the University Council Meeting No. 6/2568 at the University Council Meeting Room, Building 31, 5th Floor and via the online system (Google Meet) to consider important agendas that drive the direction of the university’s development.

This meeting focused on improving the quality of education and management, with several important agendas considered and approved:

1. Approval of degrees for over a thousand graduates: The meeting approved degrees for graduates in the 10/2567 and 11/2567 rounds, totaling 1,170 graduates, which is an important step for graduates to enter the working world.

2Revision and closure of programs to be modern: The University Council has approved the revision of the Bachelor of Science program in Information Technology and Data Management (Revision Program 2569) to keep up with technological advancements. In addition, the program is being considered for closure. Both complete and incomplete, totaling 5 programs, to adjust the structure and direction of the university to be more appropriate and efficient.

3. Plan to accept students in the bilingual program: The meeting also approved the student admission plan for the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts programs in Linguistics (bilingual program), which will help meet the demand for personnel with high-level language expertise.

4. Approval of (draft) regulations and rules: In addition, the meeting also approved (draft) Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University regulations on the personnel development fund and (draft) Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University regulations on university administration, which are important parts in laying the foundation for effective university administration.

The meeting ended at 3:30 p.m., reflecting the commitment of the Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Council to drive and develop education to progress continuously.
